The Joint Stock Company “Production Association “Electrochemical Plant” (JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant”) is an uranium enrichment enterprise of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” which is one of the leaders in the world uranium enrichment service market.

Now JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” is entering into the emerging TVEL Fuel Company. JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” promoter is the Russian Federation represented by the Federal Agency for State Property Management. The United Company “Enrichment Sublimation Complex” is the only shareholder of JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant”.

In addition to low enriched uranium used for NPP fuel assemblies, JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” produces stable and radioactive isotopes of various chemical elements, industrial pipeline parts and elements for nuclear power and other industrial enterprises and a number of other advanced technology products.

The history of the Electrochemical Plant establishment has a stable link with the implementation of the Soviet Atomic Project which provided Russia with the status of Nuclear Power and a world leader in developing nuclear technologies and utilizing nuclear energy.

JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” professionals, being the elite of the Russian industry, use a cutting edge uranium enrichment technology based on gas centrifuges.

JSC “PA “Electrochemical Plant” is a notable competitor in the world uranium market that has been performing successfully its export contracts since 1994. The ECP low enriched uranium product  is used in atomic power generation in Great Britain, Germany, USA, France, Sweden, RSA, South Korea and other countries.

Separation of stable and radioactive isotopes of various chemical elements.
JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” applies the technologies allowing production of 95 stable and radioactive isotopes of 19 chemical elements and is one of the largest commercial isotope producers in the world. The isotopic products find a wide use in various industrial fields, medicine, science including global science experiments, such as neutrinoless double beta decay research, solar neutrino detection, Universe dark material study and others.

Production of engineering and electrotechnical products for the benefit of the Russian atomic industry enterprises and productions.
The engineering division capacity allows JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” to take part in the State Corporation “Rosatom” projects related to nuclear power facility construction outside the country. Thus, as a result of international contracts successful implementation, JSC “PA Electrochemical Plant” has delivered pipeline component parts to the enrichment plant (China), Tianwan NPP (China) and Kudankulam NPP (India).

Quality and Environmental Policy

JSC “PA “Electrochemical Plant” Administration activities aim at arrangement of production conditions which are necessary and sufficient for output of quality products to comply with world standards and international rules. But the word “quality” has a special meaning for any nuclear industry enterprise as it is linked inseparably with nuclear and radiation safety. These factors have been given priority importance at JSC “PA “Electrochemical Plant” for the whole period of its existence.

The Plant Administration aims at harmony of the Plant activities and products with the environment to save it for future generations. Therefore, the environmental protection activity is directed to environmental impact minimization and personnel health protection, and environmental protection interests are as important as its economic interests.

JSC “PA “Electrochemical Plant” Quality Management System is certified as per DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 (reg. no. TIC 15 100 52787) to cover the following scope:

• production and delivery of enriched uranium-based materials;
• provision of services for separating uranium isotopes;
• production and delivery of isotopic products;
• production and delivery of metal products for nuclear and other industries.

The PA ECP” Environment Management System is certified as per DIN EN ISO 14001:2005 (reg. nos. TUV CERT 15 104 8545 and TIC 15 104 8545)   to cover the following scope:

JSC “PA “Electrochemical Plant” is a city-establishing enterprise of Zelenogorsk being a closed administrative and territorial entity

JSC “PA “ Electrochemical Plant” is located in Zelenogorsk, Krasnoyarsk region (formerly known as Krasnoyarsk-45)  about 150 km to the east of Krasnoyarsk city. It accomplishes its honorable mission of a city-establishing enterprise and is a reliable guarantor of social stability in the life of the enterprise employees and veterans, and all inhabitants of Zelenogorsk as well.

The city of Zelenogorsk (formerly known as Krasnoyarsk-45) is a closed administrative and territorial entity. It was founded as a population aggregate in May 1956. Its population is about 70 thousand people.
